- How many do you have?
- When is the last time you used it?
- Is it still in good condition?
- How easy is it to replace or borrow one instead?
VALUE
- Is this item making your life better?
- Would you buy it again?
- Is it item worth the space that it takes up?
- What is it worth to you today?
- How much could you sell it for?
- How much is it costing you to keep it? (Time, Money, and/or Energy to use, store and clean it)
SPACE & FREEDOM
- What else could you use this time, energy, or space for?
- When will you actually get around to doing it?
- What’s the worst that would happen without it?
- Would you rather have this item or more space?
EMOTIONS & MOVING FORWARD
- What does your gut say?
- How does or will this affect your family?
- How much does your family want to be involved or care about this?
- Could this be someone else’s responsibility?
- Does it bring you joy?
- What feelings does this bring up for you?
- Are you ready to let go and move forward and grow?
- Are you keeping this out of guilt or negative feelings?
CHARITY & LOVE
- Is this your decision to make?
- Do you feel good using or wearing this?
- Is this item fulfilling its purpose or just deteriorating?
