Online Meeting Etiquette

We’re sharing this in the hopes of running the most effective meetings and respectful use of your time.

  • Please begin signing in 10 minutes before our meeting starts in order to work through any connection/computer issues so that you’re not late to the meeting. Any additional time can be used for networking purposes.
  • Learn how to mute & unmute yourself using the microphone icon at the left bottom center of the Google Meet toolbar so that when the meeting starts the President has the floor.
  • Please use the “raise hand” tool in order to be recognized by the president, ie. no speaking out of turn.
  • Use chat box for leads. It’s the speech balloon icon at lower right. Please keep chat conversations business-oriented
  • Please don’t join on your phone unless it’s an emergency. Trying to get a worthwhile meeting over the phone is 10X harder.
